Traditional weaves for Modern Bride

Phulkari is the world famous embroidery technique of Punjab. It used to be an integral part of Punjabi weddings and a Bride's trousseau.

Things changed with time but, still Phulkari is a traditional folk art tht is beyond the bounderies of regularly changing fashion trends. And You can look fabulous with some cultural blend in yur attire and be a trendsetter for others.

For weddings or other functions , you can go for a phulkari lehenga with a Brocade or silk kurti or with a long Jacket .

Another idea is to make a phulkari Shirt or long Kameez with silk pants or churidaar.

If you r Bride's friend team a Phulkari dupptta with a silk plain salwar kameez . (see pic)

For Western look design a dress frm yur duppatta OR drape it with a black dress.( see pic for refrence) and carry a Phulkari Clutch.

Top Tip : Complete your look with plain Glass Bangles , typical punjabi Baliyan or jhumkas with a big tika and Punjabi jutti( flats).

PS: i do'nt own the images. If yu have any issues plz contact me.
